LUNCHEON MEETING

Our Monthly Luncheons are held on the first Thursday of each month. Information about this month's Luncheon and Program are detailed below.

MEMBERS must make their reservation by noon on Wednesday, September 23rd, per our usual procedure as outlined in the monthly newsletter. NON-MEMBERS must make their reservation by noon on Monday, September 21st, and a pre-paid reservation is required to guarantee seating. If you would like to attend, please contact our Reservations Chairperson at mary@welcomeclubnvirginia.com.

All venues are within Fairfax County and Loudoun County, the exact location will be provided once the reservation is confirmed.

David Bulova, Virginia's Cabinet Secretary for

Natural and Historic Resources

LUNCHEON PROGRAM

Mr. Bulova has over three decades of professional experience in environmental planning with an extensive background in water resource management and Chesapeake Bay restoration, in addition to other expertise.

Mr Bulova's presentation will focus on Virginia's progress in climate initiatives being put in place. These include but aren't limited to: Chesapeake Bay restoration, water supply, outdoor recreation, climate resilience, and affordability.

Other "hot topics" that will be touched on include where things stand on data centers, PFAS contamination, and anything else that may bubble up in our genteel and lovely state of Virginia.

And, there will be a question and answer period .... what's on your mind?
