LUNCHEON MEETING

 

 

Our Monthly Luncheons are held on the first Thursday of each month. Information about this month's Luncheon and Program are detailed below.

 

MEMBERS must make their reservation by noon on Wednesday, April 29th, per our usual procedure as outlined in the monthly newsletter. 

 

NON-MEMBERS must make their reservation by noon on Monday, April 27th, and a pre-paid reservation is required to guarantee seating. If you would like to attend please contact our Reservations Chairperson at mary@welcomeclubnvirginia.com.

 

All venues are within Fairfax County and Loudoun County, the exact location will be provided once the reservation has been confirmed.

Luncheon Program

 

Annual Runway Fashion Show

Featured by Scout & Molly's Boutique

 

 

Scout & Molly's owner Jane Abraham has three locations for her boutiques in Reston, the Mosaic District in Falls Church, and one in Annapolis. These stores carry creatively designed beautiful, and well-made clothing which are reasonably priced and available in sizes for all ladies! They have gotten rave reviews!

 

Scout & Molly's Reston is proud to be the founder of the Runway to the Cure Fashion Show featuring breast cancer thrivers. Many women's groups that partner with Scout & Molly's boutiques for fashioon shows do so while promoting their groups' favorite civic causes. A win, win!

 

Ten Welcome Club members have come forward to join in the fun as our runway models. They've already arranged to meet with Jane and pick out several outfits. A POP UP shop will be set up during the scheduled social time prior to the fashion show, highlighting some of the models' outfits in multiple sizes and with a 20% discount.

     Starter: Warm rolls and butter. Spring salad of baby spinach, fresh strawberries, toasted almonds goat cheese with house made balsamic vinaigrette.

     1) Boursin chicken breast, green beans, Yukon gold mashed potatoes

     2)  Pan seared Atlantic halibut, green beans, Yukon gold mashed potatoes
